We met up with a friend of ours for happy hour at the Fish Hopper in Kailua Kona. Took advantage of Happy Hour Drink prices and then stayed and had dinner. The service and food were very good and the views out over the Pacific are incredible. Definitely put this on your dining list if you are in Kailua! 
This was our 3rd visit to Fish Hoppers and, once again the entire experience did not disappoint. The food was fantastic. We had the ribs(again) the Parmesan encrusted Opah (special) the ono and the seafood pasta. Service was outstanding. Food was all perfect and the drinks( though pricey) were all delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful and set on the waterfront in downtown Kona. It is a must visit. 
The Fish Hopper Seafood and Steaks was a good choice for BREAKFAST. The food and service were very good.

I have dined here dozens of times, for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The Service & Food is absolutely delicous and extraordinary in every way! Gourmet, fresh food, outstanding service, great atmosphere and amazing views of Kailua Bay! I have never been disapointed! The chef is amazing and obviously well-trained in Gourmet/Fine Dining culinary techniques! From presentation to flavor I would give the food FIVE STARS

Restaurant was full and very beautiful and inviting! Our table was ocean front and setting gorgeous! Our hostess and Manager Kathleen was so amazing! She let us know all about the specials and recommended some signature cocktail that they offered. I enjoyed my fish tacos so did a friend Kathleen recommended the blackened mahi mahi sandwich which our other friend loved! Our waiter so great with very good service and friendly. Can’t wait to go again it was so great we spent over two hours enjoying our cocktail, lunch, views and dessert. Thanks for a great time I give it the best in Kona! 
What a great dining experience. We made reservations and were seated at a table overlooking the ocean. The hostess was very efficient in getting us seated and the servers were very attentive throughout the meal. I had the fish tacos and they were delicious. Very fresh and delicious. You have to leave room for dessert at this place. They don't bring out a dessert menu, they bring out a tray with all the desserts, making it impossible to say no. In my opinion, the best restaurant in the town of Kona. 
Get food and staff. Really great price for locals.
